Although only for a few months it will be wonderfull to see the animals again live. And more exciting, in june I will be there to see it myself! I'm going to Black Leopard Camp and will meet Tara and maybe Marc! But so pity, they will not be our presenters again

Hi Brit, nice to see you here. The live drives didn't start yet due to some technical issues. I hope to see some of them before I leave as I will visit Thornybush Game Reserve as well!! I will spend a few days with Tara and Marc will be there too for a short period, unless (as he wrote me) work comes up between now and then. Sadly he still has no work untill now, besides some freelance jobs.

That sounds great, Rionn! Where will you meet Tara and Marc? Thornybush Game Reserve is also at the Krüger Park, as I see with goolge. This is really something. We had been at the Krügers 1976, but never heard about different Game Reserves there ... time changes ... it was a great experience very exciting, because we also experienced the first and only bush fire there ...

So sorry for Marc, that he can't find a decent job. With his knowledge they should actually run after him ...

Live drives started again today! And BIG SURPRISE! Marc is our presenter again! It was a big secret and they denied it when somebody was asking. They will broadcast two times a day, 6.30 AM till 9.30, and 15.00 PM till 17.30, all in CAT (Central Africam Time) that is one hour behind Estonian time.

PM drive 20 May 2013 at Thorny Bush Private Nature Reserve

As the reserve is new to both of them they are driving around with a a(selfmade) map. They can only drive in a limited area because of the signals are not good everywhere (until now). They are working on it to get the signals better in a wider area.

Today they found some animals. During the AM drive they found a leopard on his prey in a tree, but I missed the drive so have no pictures.

During the PM drive they found a wildebeast



and Marc explained how a fig tree strangled another tree, in this case another fig tree

They crossed the Timbavati river



and we had a beautiful sunset

Hi all, quite a long time I posted here. I did not see many of the live drives in Thornybush private nature reserve. But as I was in Africa in june I was lucky to have the opportunity to meet Marc Weiner in the Wild Earth Camp. It was great to see him. As I was home again I managed to watch some live drives and I saw him and many animals I had met in person again. It was a great experience!

Wild Earth is a list of five African-cams.
4 is in South Africa and one in Botswana.

Africam is all 8 cameras are in South Africa.

Sanparks is 4 cameras 3 camera is in South Africa and one in Botswana.

Kenya 3 camera, but now is a problem with the Internet.
