Me too, at first I was so nervous, because I thought as a native speaker I should use perfect English. :slap:
After a while I relaxed and I have more fun.

Hmmm . . . no cam all day long on 21 April? :puzzled: Or was everyone at the black stork nest?

As I :peek: for a moment I saw two eagles in the nest. One of them brought a prey.

They are coming and going, I think it's the male that is bringing frogs for the female ... like I just wrote in the stork thread, I have made so many pictures, also of the 2 eagles here, I have crashed the uploader ...

strange thing is, that i have not once seen a LSE in their own nest,
but they are present at old BS nest when i look there.
and this is really annoying :puzzled:

but you are saying that Koit and Eha are still visiting their nest?
there is fresh greenery for sure...

Sorry, Asteria, I was not clear. I was referring to the new black stork nest that everyone was watching on 21 April. I wondered if that was why there were no postings for the Estonia LSE cam, that this cam got ignored, or if really no LSEs were here.

I think the LSE pair that is inhabiting Padis' nest now is the same young couple that stole the nest from him last summer, not Koit & Eha.

I see. Well, last year they were the first to find the empty nest, Padis was late and did not leave the sign "reserved" there. This year Padis arrived earlier but he doesn't seem to be interested in fighting for that nest, cause he is single and free.

I have not seen an eagle in this nest the last few days, but just a few minutes back I heard a LSE call and clicking through the open cams I found this one:

Also clicked on the recording, but have not yet loaded it to YouTube because another one was still uploading. The eagle called a few times, jumped on the branch on the left and then flew off again

Thank you for the picture and video! It is hard to catch those quick visits - I have not seen the eagles yet this season.

Happy Easter (will there be Easter eggs here?)

Both were on the nest at 7:14 A.M. Koit (?) brought a green branch.

Image

Koit on nest and Eha on the branch ( ??)
Image

and then - he left and she came back to the nest (I think that is the way it went...)

Both eagles left the nest, briefly, and then one returned with a branch.

Hello and good morning
I am very fascinated by the LSE, and I wonder if somebody knows how long it will take for them to breed/lay eggs, and when is the limit for when we can say that they will not this year?
It is great to see pictures of Koit and Eha in the nest this morning, but it seems to me that they mostly are there early in the morning and that the nest is empty most of the day, can anyone remember if it was like that the year they raised Spot? There are three LSE nests this year, and it would have been great if at least one of the pairs would breed :bounce: To me, it seems that there is a little more activity in the Blackstork(LSE) nest?
