Great video. They both fel down
A light wind swept over the corn, and all nature laughed in the sunshine.

Miks is on the branch on the left side, but only to see when wind is strong enough to push the cam view in another position (sec 56)

When I checked this afternoon, and saw that the only post from today was Miks call out of view at 6:51 this morning, I thought it may be the first day without any visits. But Miks had to take a little trip in the nest, and fortunately you saw him Fleur, Starling and Bea

You know when Micks and his parents begin their migration? Last year, 2011, the young bird goes to Africa in September or October? Thank you
Good day !

No connection to the camera the whole day ....
I tried to find out what happened and visited the Latvian forum, and with help of google translator it seems to be like this:
the batteries are down and there won´t be put new ones there, as the season is (nearly) over and Metra, Macho and Miks are going to migrate soon ....
Perhaps Grieta will find some time and tell us details ....

Your translation is absolutely correct. The broadcast from this camera in this season is over.

What an unpleasant news. I´ve been trying to get the camera connection through the day.
Thank you Bea and vainamoinen for the info.
However this season was good! (In the beginning I felt a little sorrow because of Miks little sibling, but next year I´ll be more prepared for this "cainism" which was new to me as well as LSEs.)
We can can be proud of Miks and his family. I´m sure they will do fine! I wish them all the best and safe journey to the sun! And of course thanks to all who made this possible in Latvia. And thanks to all the members here who gave pictures and reports. It was nice to be here with you!

I agree with Starling.
It was a pleasure to be here, and every day to watch the pictures and listen to the sound.
Thanks everyone, especially those who made this possible.
Latvia for the webcam images and Loodus calendar for the forum.
We were all together a good team.
I like to see you all back next year
Thank You Macho, Metra and Miks, You did well

It was a great experience to see the "growing up" of Miks and it was a pleasure to see that Miks stay so much time "at home" after he is fledged.
Thanks @ all who made it possible to watch this cam and see the life of Metra, Macho and Miks.
Thanks for all your reports, pictures and video's and I hope we will see all of you back next season .
And last but not least thanks to Metra and Macho, they did a great job .
I wish them a safe and nice journey and hope we will see them next year again.

It has been a great and successful season together with Metra, Macho and Miks.
It's always a bit sad when a cam closes, but we have been able to follow them munch longer than I expected. Miks is doing fine, and have become a beautiful and proud Lesser Spotted Eagle. I think it has been very touching to see the relationship between Miks and his parents. No wonder they "refuses" to end it
Metra, Macho and Miks, I wish you a safe trip to Africa. I wish Miks a great eagle life, and I hope we meet Metra and Macho next season:)
Thank you to EVERYONE who has been involved, and made this season interesting, instructive and GREAT
I hope to meet you here again next season
Edit: I agree with Fleur, TOGETHER WE ARE A GREAT TEAM

Manu I think it is those cute eye rings that first grab at your heart with these baby eagles.
Thank you to everyone

@Alice: You're right. I've seen this little fluffy chick with his eye rings and fall in love .
This little chick growing up in a few weeks to such a beautiful young eagle, it's unbelievable...
