Updates August 21st

After a few days outage cam is working again.
Eaglets flew in and out many times, but not both at the same time(from the distance I could not distinguish, but I hope there were both of them)

At midnight a broadcast of the nest of white-tailed eagles will be finished.


This year we watched white-tailed eagles from north Poland.

So this is the very last day of the webcast from WTEs' nest in Dobrocin.
At about quarter past five pm I got the last shot of one of the young eagles.


Now it's getting dark, some insects are swarming in front of the camera, but there's no eagle in sight.

Thanks a lot for all your reports and updates. It's always sad when the youngsters leaves the nest's but it's also nice to see it was a successfull breeding season . I wish them all a good life and good luck.

Updates August 23rd

Yesterday and today the nest was visited by the eaglets several times a day. Parents still bring a food for them.

Organisers gave us a surprise. The transmission still is acting. Very much we are pleased with it .

Today (26.08.2013) transmission was finished.

White-tailed eagles for the first time turned up at the nest on 14 February. Today a broadcast of the nest started.

Great to hear the Polish Nest-cam AND the eagle's are back again .

The nest is empty. It seems this year eagles changed their minds and chose another place.

Will it stay longer?
The nest is located in the Bory Tucholskie National Park. The broadcast started in 2018, white-tailed eagles sometimes visit this place.

The eaglet is very talkative and chases mum away from the nest.
He/she got a name Wodzia (people think it's a female).
Wodzia practices wings often, she will fledge soon.
