18:00-19:00h Mārcis spent most of the time on the branch on the left side. Sometimes veeeery well hidden. Most of the time I didn't see him. Sometimes he made some exercises and I saw a glimpse of the wings tips. Every now and then he jumped in to the nest. But only for a few seconds. Then he jumped back to the branch.

Yes, he is branching... He's sitting mostly on the branch on the left side. Very well hidden.

You're right. Miks was last year also attacked by a goshhawk in this nest but he was able to protect himself and could stay in the nest.
I think, the worse thing was Stephi fell out of the nest. So the goshhawk was able to catch her because of the injury.

Miks was more lucky because of two things: he was attacked by a young goshawk who was searching for available food and because there was a mole he just stole. An adult bird is more dangerous.

Metra is such a warm mum. Al the time so much hugs and preaning in the evening. Last year with Mich is was the same. Wonderful to see.
Thanks everybody for the nice clips.
