Wild Bucovina - Golden Eagle/Romania

Lucina and Caliman come to the nest together. Lucina examines the nest bowl very closely.


She stays while Caliman first perches on a side branch and later procures new nesting material.
Lucina was again in the nest for a long time today.

Caliman wasn't visiting the nest today, not directly, anyway. For her part, Lucina never left the nest all day. I don't know how she defecates (feces) and she didn't eat either. But I think they can take it. For one day...two?

This morning at 10:36 am Lucina accepted male Caliman's offer to leave the nest. That was a long marathon for the female...




Caliman slipped very carefully but quickly onto the eggs.
