Dyfi Osprey Project

Post by Jo UK »

Brit sent me e-mail requesting a new topic for the Dyfi Osprey blog and webcam. Thank you, Brit.

There is a very interesting Osprey webcam: ‘Montgomeryshire Wildlife
Trust's website for our Dyfi Osprey Project’:

http://dyfiospreyproject.com/stream with a most interesting blog about the
happenings:

http://www.dyfiospreyproject.com/blog/c ... /this-week

There is a terrific view and the soap opera there reminded me somehow on the
happenings with Madis and Oxana/Piret … I tried to open a theme, but
obviously it is not possible for me, therefore I have to bother you… sorry.

With best regards from
Brit

Bore da

07:00 Monty emailed from the nest last night, just received this Google translation, Osprish - English:

"Well done to everybody that have donated to the Live Streaming fund. Three quarters of the way there now.

If you get to the £10,000 target, I'll get rid of Twitchy the aerial.. promise. Monty"

From Dyfi blog just now;
17:20 The Live Streaming should be a lot more watchable now - we've had to do the unthinkable and lower the resolution. We will get to HD streaming once technology allows us to with so many watching.

Still no eggs. I'm off home for my tea, it was omelette until some Twit predicted that we'd have an egg by this afternoon

Thank you macdoum!!!

Here is what Emyr writes in the blog:

Glesni Lays an Egg!
Posted 23-May-2013 in This Week by Emyr

And yesterday, after 3 days and 1 ¾ hour the 2nd egg was laid. Will a third one be coming, that would be on the 28th of May, very late, concerning the fact, that in another nest there the chick was already 9 days old, when Glesni laid her 1st egg!

Lets hope the weather is taking a good part…
Have a nice day!
