Not only Malta, also Cyprus ... please help!!!
Committee Against Bird Slaughter (CABS)
Protest against Poaching on Cyprus
The poaching problem on Cyprus, especially non-selective bird trapping and killing, threatens to reach the proportions recorded before accession to the European Union.
This worrying trend must be urgently halted and reversed. The cyberaction against illegal bird trapping and killing in the Republic of Cyprus is actively supported by BirdLife Cyprus, the Federation of Environmental and Ecological Organizations of Cyprus and Terra Cypria, the Cyprus Conservation Foundation, as well as Friends of the Earth Europe and Friends of the Earth International.
This cyberaction aims to appeal to the responsible politicians on Cyprus to rigidly enforce existing Cypriot and EU legislation. This will be done by a petition to the Minister of Interior, Mr. Neoklis Sylikiotis, the Minister of Justice, Mr. Louka Louka, and the Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and the Environment, Mr. Dimitris Eliades.
For more information read our actual press release (27.09.2010)

Mew I just checked again and had no trouble getting either to open, and I found another horrible and thankfully short video on their work -- the birds in traps just make me feel queasy.
