I am convinced that it is correct to state the official names of municipalities (and not how their names sound when pronounced)

Somehow the stork brought it together with sticks and small branches.

:hi:
I'm not sure if posting these pictures here is the right thread, so, please, if they are wrong here, let me know and i will delete them.

When i looked out of my kitchen window i saw something like a darker 'living cloud' over my neighbour's house coming closer towards my house. I took my camera and went out on terrace.....

Image

woooh, it was a flock of (i think) young white storks, about 30-40 (i couldn't count that fast, while taking pictures)
Image

they were gathering right over my house - it was an amazing sight - stunning

:hi: Balistar,
thanx very much for sharing :2thumbsup: . Very nice to see that :innocent:
it must have been a beautiful experience
the first flocks of this year's storks form outside the area of their native nest, even if usually only a few tens of kilometres away

:hi: Solo, thanks for responding, i'm glad you enjoyed.
Yes, it was a beautiful experience so directly over my house. We have really many white stork nests here in the area. Alone here in my little village we have two nests, each again successful with two fledged youngsters, although we had a very wet and cold spring.

Today i saw a smaller flock of youngsters again (about 20-30). They were all gathered in a freshly plowed field in search of food, especially for the worms who come out after plowing :D Unfortunately i was driving in my car and had no camera with me.

(Since about one week i have a lot of trouble with my internet connection, it breaks down very often every day, sometimes for hours, it's annoying. The internet provider only says "yes, there is a malfunction" and "we are working on it". Unfortunately unsuccessful so far  So, i'm not able to contribute on the BS nests.)

Libštát by 9.18.57 all the storklets flew away.

This season in Libštát is the best of the last 5 years: 3 of 3 storklets fledged.
