Thank you for the last video, Macko, and thank you everyone for keeping us up do date in this wonderful topic.
Hopefully again here next year.

13.04.2015 the fourth egg is there. Parents are happily and look in the nest
11.05.2015 Ziluks hatched
13.05.2015 Ziluka- Upene hatched
I believe that Zile and Ozols come back next year.
Whether this nest again has a camera? I dont know.
It is also interesting, to observe other storks. So I can learn more more. They do not behave all the same.

It looks more like Zile than Ozols but no matter who, I'm always happy to see this rare bird who resembles a diginfied gentleman in a tailcoat.

Liz, that video we have to wait for a little more... but i have a clip where the stork is preening if that helps...
and two pictures.
i was wondering a few days ago how you could be suddenly so sure that the storklets had gone for good...? till then they had flown out and returned and then it was said that now they have left for their migration. how was that departure different from the earlier ones?
anyway now an adult is back. i also read that the male (?) was expected to return to make some decorations. perhaps he is back now for that?
- altough now he/she seems to be sleeping.
not in working mood.

Ame
on 03/08. sent near the Polish border, the transmitter. Ziluka flew away. That is a fact. Where she is, we do not know. No further transmission signals until now.
Everything else is a guess. It may be that the parents are still here. Can also be that Ziluks (male Storklet) is still here

aha, i see! i had missed that information about the satellite signal. then the female storklet has certainly left. i hope she is fine even though there haven't been new signal yet.
the stork on the nest is sleeping...
only the sun has moved in the sky, the stork not.
