Latvian Black Storks 2015 - Zīle and Ozols

This morning I heard very strange sounds on the cam. Couldn't even make out if it were animals.
about 8:51 en onwards
But I don't think anybody is interested now that the storks have gone....

Marfo, at what time were the sounds/noise/voices? oh, about 8:51. ok, i'll see if i can find it.

Maybe, it was humans noises. Maybe, the cam was closed for this season. She works not more in this time. Only my thinking.
It was the same in the last year at Irmas and Ilmars nest.(osprey)
We will see, maybe Ame can us more say with a video about this.
Edit: No, the cam works again since 12:38!

today I also heard the sounds, even thought the birds/animals as if they conspired, variegated sound, tap-tap of a woodpecker) and the noises were from the bottom can bear, and maybe people)

no human, it was a squirrel.

i think that the tree behind the nest is an oak. i heard clicking sound before tha squirrel called. i guess it was perhaps collecting acorns.

Well Eagle-Eye-Ame, thanks for going through all that trouble!
I haven't seen a (red) squirrel for a very long time. They are rare in the parts of the Netherland where I come these days. And I have never heard one, I didn't know they even make a sound! I suppose it is the one sound at the end of the video. There were much more sounds like these later on.
I was listening and watching this cam on my iPhone so I think I am excused for not seeing this animal....

Hello everybody. This is the end of a long and nice story. I want to thank you all for the great moments of exchanges and passionate informations about Black storks. I didn't participate, but I read all the conversations, and had a look each day to the nest. I'll wait for a new family next spring !
There are still Ospreys to tool at, till their departure too

I suppose this is the actual owner of the nest.
He has the battle to the nest lost, to beginning on the breeding season.
He was there all the time. We saw him very often
I think he is without a partner

Ozols and Zile are gone, since 01 August.

Sad, that there is so little suitable breeding places gives.
