I believe that Zile and Ozols come back next year.

Whether this nest again has a camera? I dont know.
It is also interesting, to observe other storks. So I can learn more more. They do not behave all the same.

It looks more like Zile than Ozols but no matter who, I'm always happy to see this rare bird who resembles a diginfied gentleman in a tailcoat. :loveshower:

i was wondering a few days ago how you could be suddenly so sure that the storklets had gone for good...? till then they had flown out and returned and then it was said that now they have left for their migration. how was that departure different from the earlier ones? :puzzled:

anyway now an adult is back. i also read that the male (?) was expected to return to make some decorations. perhaps he is back now for that?
- altough now he/she seems to be sleeping.
not in working mood. :whistling:

Ame

on 03/08. sent near the Polish border, the transmitter. Ziluka flew away. That is a fact. Where she is, we do not know. No further transmission signals until now.
Everything else is a guess. It may be that the parents are still here. Can also be that Ziluks (male Storklet) is still here
