Fleur, then it is a problem of the camera.

In the afternoon, when there was a thunderstorm in that area, I had that problem too, but now the camera runs normal and without problem since hours. I can hear a red deer somewhere in the background.
I'm keeping an eye on it, and if there are more problems tomorrow, I'll try to find out more.

Edit: it started to rain again, now it is a bit jerky again, especially the sound, which is due to the sensitive microphone, as we know.

14:14 (CT)
A roe buck appeared from the right side and walked along there, for some moments I had the impression he was limping, but maybe it was because the cam sometimes stutters a bit. But roe buck licked his back over the left hip ...

Suddenly a female came running from the right side ...

Hagnat wrote: As far as I can see there is no water in the hole in front of the camera but there is water close to the camera. Yesterday and today I heard something falling in water with a splash and this morning (09:20) I heard a Blackbird(?) bathing. Perhaps only a puddle in a path?

about 10 meters behind is field, and around that (between field and camera), is a draining ditch. At the camera place, maybe 3-4 meters wide with murky water about meter deep. I don't know exactly, have not fallen in yet. This is probably lowest (deepest) part of the ditch, because 100 meters away there is much less water and it is so narrow, that you can jump over it. Ditch is partly filled with fallen trees and some grass. Very pleasant for all sorts of birds and animals I think ...
No fish I'm afraid ...

Before you do that, please turn around the camera :rotf:

On a more serious note, how did the camera work today? I had no time today to have a longer look, so I also missed the roe deer.

No breaks, but it froze two or three times during the day with my VLC.

It has some stutters in transmission, as if some seconds were longer and some shorter :puzzled:

When the roe deer were running it was no fluent transmission.
