Re: WTE nest somewhere
Camera system has light sensor to save energy in dark time.
Hope we will see the nest owners soon!

they will come soon. They need a little holiday at the sea. The breeding season is long, they need a lot of power.
at the moment there are no eagles on the nests. not in Latvia, not in Norway and also not here.
we wait

it was still daylight yesterday when the camera stopped yesterday. the light sensor will need setting changes soon (hopefully due to eagles returning home!).

No eagle, but noisy ravens, at least two of them, maybe three
10:52
Still clucking from above
Maybe it was a couple, defending its territory against a third bird? There are some fly-arounds later, and a lot of calling.

WtE - alarm!
No rings and corvids are complaining about the visitor .... it was a silent visit, only the corvids were noisy
It nibbled a bit on some branches, but one can´t call that real "nestwork" ... some looked a bit more like "cleaning beak"

the crows and jackdaws stopped calling after the eagle was gone. so that's why they began to make noise so suddenly: the eagle arrived somewhere nearby. the noise of the crows and jackdaws made me look at the camera in the first place and soon i saw the eagle landing on the nest.
edit: this lady (i think it's a she) is not very old yet: she has some dark on her beak.
i see that Bea already has a video of this Lady so i'll remove mine.
here's anyway hte address:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ma-PzuybxvM
17:20 camera off. that was close!
the camera should run a little later/darker, just in case.

i made a close-up of this Lady. when i was watching the video again i began to suspect that she is not the Lady of the Nest though. she seemed to be in a 'wrong place'. she was looking around so carefully and cautiously that i made me think that she doesn't belong here after all.
