15:25 a marsh tit, some great tits and a nuthatch were on the feeder.
(i suppose that it was a marsh tit although it made no voices. Hagnat always said that willow tits would not be seen at the feeder. i can't tell who is who just by the looks.)

Image

the nuthatch looked for seeds without shells it threw out a lot of seeds before it found something worth eating.

Ame, they always eat on the feeder and spend there a lot of time as I ve noticed. And they are the most dominant there. Some of them even chases other birds away. Quite bold bird species :D

You are right, green finches take time themselves for eat. I like they, but on my feeder place I can see they only still less.
Earlier we had much more from this species here. That me makes me sad. The species diversity wanes...day by day.

infections with trichomoniasis are one important cause.
this is a problem for other species of birds too. but greenfinches are affected much more. the reason seemes to be unknown.
