A picture is almost the same that also has set here Ferenz. There are not many good pictures - mostly he was visible from the side and was hooting.

Hello everybody!
Again very nice clear photos Liz, thank you!
Hellem, Ferenz =) ... nice that you stay on the ball. Bubo deserves his fans. =)

Yesterday it seemed to me again that he looks very often into the camera. He looks and calls very often towards the camera. Do you also have that feeling?
Can he see himself or what animates him?

Yesterday was a beautiful warm evening light. (Also at the WTE Nest). His eyes were even more intense and penetrating. Even if I say it too often - he is a beautiful animal! :loveshower:
I especially like his shouts. The eagle owl at the WTE nest did not sound as warm as our Bubo. Also the one at home sounds rather tinny. No comparison to Bubo.

And ... yesterday he came from the right.
Now suddenly he changes his direction of approach. :book:

I am already looking forward to him - afterwards. =)

A nice evening for you!

Hellem! ☺

I'm almost surprised that Bubo is still advertising and trying so hard. I am happy to see him at any moment.
In Youtube chat I often read regret and compassion. Better, I guess it together. Unfortunately you can't copy and translate there.

I don't think that Bubo suffers. They are instincts. Even if they are unsatisfied, he will soon feel better.
We have a rough hair dachshunds who always wants to play along when a girl is hot. It feels similar.

I'm more worried about the next season but I'm very excited.

I have two questions for the initiators of the camera.

Will the camera be kept for the pre-birth season? So also from November on?
That would be about the time when old and new couples can be found.

And furthermore ... are there counts or observations that prove a mismatch between males and females?

When the bird flu spread, the blackbirds affected many or more females than males. Here we are so happy to see a blackbird girl.
I have read that it does not affect birds of prey. But you never know one hundred percent.
