There is no use to give them names now, they'll be gone soon.

Maybe Shanta will be able to record that.
Shanta, thank you for all the videos of the last owlet's day in the nest box!!!
WOW, that was unexpected!!!
I still cannot believe it!
They didn't wait for Hellem or for better names! :innocent:
This season is so, so different! They are 30 days old and usually they leave around that time, but it could be different too. I thought they were slow, but in one day they just started doing everything while I was sleeping!!! :dunno:

:hi: All :loveshower:

I saw this afternoon the "wings festival" in the box.

Later I saw on the phone that suddenly box was empty. Looked to me it's a little early but they were hungry and wanted to see where food comes from. :rotf:

Since they were only 2, things were easier for them.

It's very hard to watch this nest without an external cam. In other owls nests in Europe they have 2-3 cams and we can watch the complete season even when they are branching, like now.
I'm sure we'll hear them around in the next days.

Good luck nice kids! wish you much food an good health :2thumbsup:

On 2013, I watched them for the first year, there were also only 2 cute kids.

We saw them leaving on the cam and it was very special (for me).
