I am not sure what kind of this bird was. A Mistle thrush? It landed in the lower left corner of the screen, only partial visible, and quickly flew up again. It made some soft calls unknown to me.

Aren't there enough webcams already? Camera's and accompanying equipment are very expensive and it will cost already a lot of money to make this cam reliable.
A capercallie nest is difficult to find. Then you have to make it visible, place a camera at it etc. The breeding season is over before you start viewing.

22:45 In the last 30 minutes or so there is some action. Mainly wings heard.
The only visible action is from a spider on the camera.
23:10 Singing Nightjar not far away.

(07:15) I opened the cam around 05:15 and have not seen or heard any Capercaillie since.

I have been operating today from 4am to 6:30.
Unfortunately no Cc on cam. Just some flying in the air.
So I had time to test some technical settings of the camera.

4:08 Cc flies from tree to the ground left, out of view. Feeding a bit on bilberry leaves and stays watching around. Close view.
4:34 starts to feed, some steps and stays again

It doesn't surprise me at all. Added as number 54 to the list.

Btw. Yesterday I heard on the Põgari-Sassi cam a Northern wheatear including several times a clear mimic of Rosefinch it its song.
