WOW, things sure look different and good! Congrats to the webmaster for all the hard work and beautiful new forum.

Yes, it looks nice and fresh!

One thing about the mobile version:
I can't see a way to switch to the desktop version. The mobile version is now very unpractical because you cannot see the latest posts so you have to click through to all the topics to see if there is a new post. The old version had a button to switch to the desktop version. Is it possible to add that again?

In my personal 'board preferences' I have always indicated that my online status must be hidden. The new forum ignores that. Please respect personal settings.

Probably I was not hidden for you but off line.
What would be the point of showing only me that I am logged in ? I know it already when I am or not.

As far as the White-tailed Eagle Database is concerned, everything is running smoothly now. Thanks a lot, Kaido! :2thumbsup:

Exactly! I wondered as well why my name is visible...

On the bottom of the page: "Users browsing this forum: Marfo and 4 guests"
How do I know if my name is visible or not?

When you see your own name in italics you are invisible for other members/guests.

But this is nothing new, it must have been like this in the "old style" forum also :puzzled:

No, Bea  , in the "old style" forum the hidden member was not visible in italics
But it's OK now, the hidden members know that they are not visible to others

Thanks Hellem - yes, that´s like it should be now for members who want to hide their online-status - their username is only visible for themselves and in italics

Maybe this is one of the details that will still be changed, but when you have put in your settings your online-status as "invisible" the new forum software should have taken it over.

Only when they have read this topic. Otherwise their name is just shown, in violation with the personal settings. There is no way to be sure unless the names are invisible.

Every member, which is unsure about something, can post a question in e.g. the "Questions and Help" topic or send a PM to one of the board team and we will help as good as we can.

Often other members are quicker in reading a public post and can give help "from member to member"

The board is probably not working perfectly yet so some functions may still be missing. Also things look different and some things may be in different places than they used to be. Patience friends.

There is a good possibility of control. If you are visible to others,
you can see in the post a green stripe with the word "online"

you can not see it, if you are hidden

Earlier today i was able to find the switch with which to change from mobile to 'normal' full board view but now i can't find it. Also the colours have changed again.
When i've logged in hidden my name with italics in the bottom line. I can see my name but others cannot. If i log in normally then everyone can see my name in the bottom row and the green "online" banner on the corner of my avatar.

No stupid question, Hellem - many things are new here!

In the upper right corner, click on your profile picture and you will get a drop down menu with the option to log out
