Good morning!
what a beuatiful morning. the wind is getting stronger... i have heard the eaglets a few times!

thank you Liz for your reports and also bringing us Biruta's observations!

6:04 a pygmy owl called. then both eaglets called every now and then, also the pygmy, till 6:19.

6:20 - 6:44 the eaglets and other birds called.

6:55 the mistle thrush visited. it was a mystery first: the voice was like blackbird but it looked like a fieldfare or song thrush. thank you for solving the mystery!.

:hi:

a really beautiful morning, what a gorgeous sight, a painter would have been pleased,
and so many little birds' and eaglets' voices..... pity that I can't assign them all

....
6:56 liznm: a little bird on the left higher branch
7:03:21 liznm: a blackbird on the poop branch
7:05 liznm: eaglet is calling
i could take a snapshot, i think it was not a blackbird, but i don't know what species it is
(maybe a kind of flycatcher ?)

06:56 the little bird flew from the left higher branch...

07:00 ...to the poop branch

7:38:01 A bird flew to the nest tree - It looked like a black bird
.......

i saw two jays successively flying down in a dive, so i assume this bird 7:38:01 was one of them

07:38:15 was the first jay
Image

07:38:28 the second (i wasn't able to take a reasonably good screenshot)

these are not jays. these are rather magpie or woodpecker (birds are black and white)

06:56/07:00 my first thought was also a song trush, but the sound did not fit with what i found at xeno-canto

07:38 no jays ? i thought i saw something blue, maybe i was deceived from the many jay sounds that were to hear a few times

thank you for solving the thrush mystery!
7:05 - 7:51 both eaglets called many times.
7:17 one of them flew by crying. i'm almost certain that it was Miks.
then there were more calls...
7:51 a big bird flew by to the direction of the Fish Market. i guess that this was Miks as well.

7:19 Rika called (i think).
7:20 a voice which sounded like a blackbird but was perhaps a mistle thrush again..? :puzzled:
7:22 Rika cried flying. maybe she flew away, too.

7:42 a greater spotted woodpecker visited. i think it was a male.
the black&white bird are woodpeckers. we seldom see magpies here, and then we usually also hear them. :whistling:

7:51 a call which Liz thought was an eaglet. to me it sounded like Milda? :puzzled:

8:01 the strange voices which Liz heard probably belonged to a crow. there were a lot of birds around making voices: crows, ravens, a jay who flew to the left side of the camera, a chiffchaff and finally a hazel grouse whistled.

8:05 - 8:17 adult's voices a few times. it sounded first like Milda but later it was clearly Raimis. he seemed to have 'talks' with crows. :whistling:
perhaps they found him and were mobbing him. there were also eaglet's voices.

8:18 - 8:24 cries and calls...
after that more calls every now and then till 9:14. i heard both eaglets' voices.

9:26 and 9:30 both voices.
after this i didn't look for voices.

15:07 sounds like a fish song. Eaglet flew away loud screaming

It looks like it has been in this place for a while. I do not know when it arrived.
