It's not fixed to the plumage. Imagine a human backpack: there are two bands from the transmitter that run around the shoulders, mostly crosswise above the front and back underneath the wings to the backpack.

WOW!! look at what I just found !!

I wanted to look for a picture to show Summi about attaching any transmitter and I was very lucky.

This article is recent, last March :thumbs: I was very happy to learn about the long life of this traveller :mrgreen:

That transmitter there looks exactly like the one 716A is wearing :) ! That is an impressive robustness if it really is the same type.

They should make an agreement about the time of each ones flight exercises. :mrgreen:

We haven't seen them branching yet. Not that we shall see much when they do but if one disappears to the right s/he is branching.

In the evenings they are especially naughty :headroll: :D Flight training is actively alternated with fencing on the beaks, throwing the puck into the game and other sports :mrgreen:
