17:29 Female brought a pike to the nest

the fish is almost eaten


18:26 she flew off sudden with the fish and a branch in her claws
18:27:07 osprey is flying on the right

18:27 She? was away and came in with the fish tail and the branch

18:27 A second Osprey flew off from a tree on the left No, that was a crow. He landed in the tree and calls
she flew off again with fishtail and branch


18:28 back with fish and branch and off .. a crow is calling near


I have to do a video ...

I hope he'll bring the lady with him this time; ....

And even a lady who brings her own food.

Her grip is unbelievable.
She must have flown this loop without letting go of the stick. Just so as not to lose the leftover fish.

I checked the migration map... Ospreys are still on their way...

Vija arrived 10/4 to south Latvia.

Teo & Vita where are U?

Hi Abigyl, Vita didn't come back last season.

There were occasional visits from females. Very adorable UW in May '22 having fun with Teo.
They would have made a good couple...hadn't UW just been passing through.

UW is the remaining female chick from Ivo & Iiris from 2020 in the Estonian nest. Her brother UX was taken by a Goshawk.

Today we saw pigeons (!) and crows... lately WTE.
But no Goshawk yet. Who was actually already here at this time.
Perhaps the Goshawk population has declined? (It still remains the WTE)




Now only Teo and a female are missing.
