Nice catches from the black woodpecker Liz.

...and thank you for the pics from Gaja and videos.

21:58 The nest is empty, but for a while songs or calls from owls are to hear. I guess I can hear two of them.

Birdfriend  you're welcome :D

No Kaupo, no Gaja for three days
I think the season on this nest is over. Last year Gaja was last on the nest too.

I wish both a safe journey  and I really hope that we will see her again next season. Then with chicks :innocent:

The situation in this nest was unusual but not tragic. Gaya disliked a ruined nest, flew away and when Kaupo repaired the nest and she was back, it was already too late for breeding. So they had a break.

Good afternoon all black stork friends :hi:

They are really gone. I'm a bit unhappy.
I wish both a good and safe journey to Africa and an equally safe return to Latvia :2thumbsup:

Since a few days -a untouched nest.

Is it possible they have started migration so early? Me too, feel sad, that they both don't come to show themselves to us. Very hope they will return in spring to start succesful season full with their kid-sweeties.
