7:49 a great tit visited the eagles.
the tit sang to them and the eaglet replied. the tit stayed out of our sight.

Sonchik, the flight route of Raimis was very funny. he flew like a butterfly.
edit: i made a new longer video. i can barely see Raimis flying above the meadow. every other time i see, every other time i don't. my eyes are not good enough. :slap:

At 11:52, the eagles welcomed someone. Voice of a buzzard.
yes, the calls were a welcoming calls.the eaglets were greeting someone in friendly voices. they were not calling warning calls i guess that they saw a parent.
the episode is in the second video of this post:
viewtopic.php?p=734458#p734458

i don't think i heard a buzzard there though. maybe the clip is too short. there were so many jays calling in the forest yesterday almost all day long. i always suspect a jay when i hear "buzzard". :whistling:
there was also the strange episode with a lot of eagle's calls and Raimis staying on the tree top. i think that there really was a buzzard nearby then.

9:19 a PS by a girl.
if Janis wanted to ring them they would be ready but he will not come. it would be interesting to hear the measurements of these two, their "shoe sizes".

she remained standing straight up. she has good balance already. :2thumbsup:

walking is is a bit insecure.

9:30 the next eaglet got up and went to toilet in the back of the nest. this is clearly a boy. he is at a greater distance but nevertheless the "shoe number" is half of the girl's number.
Image

Floppy Fish, can you tell which is Primo and which Seconda?
Image

9:31 the parents called.
9:32 again longer.

i made a double portrait of the eaglets. the boy is on the left and the girl on the right.
Primo and Seconda?
Image

9:33 - 9:39 the parents called a few times near the nest.

9:48:48 Milda kaa - kaa - kaa - ka! nearby.
9:57:00 Milda again.
10:03:23 again.

her voice comes from somewhere quite near, not from the top but from a shorter distance than the Observation Oak is. it sounds like she is "behind us".
one eaglet is looking front left and talked. then both are looking to the right. :D

10:38 Milda started calling nearby.
(maybe i mixed live calls with the recording which i was listening?)
10:39 Raimis brought a bird chick. looks like some bird of prey.
Image

10:39 Milda flew home right behind him.
Image

10:40 Raimis to the right branch and out.

Milda began to pluck the bird. it's rather big but not very developed yet. pinfeathers are barely visble on the edges of wings and tail. no webbed feet.
Image

white throat but otherwise light grey.
Image

11:01 (about ) one of the eaglets swallowed a big last chunk of food as whole. feeding over.

11.15 - 11.18

Both chicks decide on a bit of nest/ bedding rearranging resulting in a little squabbling and tug of war ! , “it’s mine , no it’s mine” 😂
