Estonian LSE (formerly BS) Webcam 2011 ~ Tuuli & Remo

This webcam has just opened in the past few minutes, and there is a black stork there. He/she won't put his left leg down yet, so we can's say for sure if there is a ring.

How will this season treat our black storks? Let's find out.

Note: the storks did not use this nest, but Lesser Spotted Eagles did!

"Tormi" hatched on June 10 and fledged on August 9

:loveshower: :loveshower: :loveshower: This "unknown" black stork is very clever: deliberately hiding his left leg and upper part of his head he is hiding his identity, thinking we don't recognize him! But only one stork stays in this nest for nights in spring!

The other day I counted the days we have waited.. for 1000 days and nights we have waited counted from the day the 15th August 2008!
