It is interesting to know that 718 was already migrating 2015, only as two years old. Isn't it most often said that ospreys migrate back to North first in three years age? And now she will be four years old this season.
Knowing that it could be possible and would be a sensation to see one of 'our' osprets known from the cam nests. Maybe they, though, don't appear in their parents' territory ... But like 718 also other Latvian ospreys might show up in Estonia and vice versa ...
For a long time there were no data of osprey Vadim on migration map. But now he has covered 1126 km and is in Sudan (last data of 13 April). So ospreys are still on way ...
Owlie, Irma also nested with Ilmar in 2011 and 2012!
Before there was a camera. Urmas found Irma and Ilmar nesting in a tree, but the tree was unstable so the Eagle Club built the platform and put up the camera nearby. So Irma has successfully migrated and raised Osprets for 6 years!
Talons Crossed, this will be Queen Irma's 7th year!!!
Wild nature is cruel in itself - the strongest wins.
if Irma returns, then most likely, the Lady will have to vacate the place. It's sad that she can start to carry eggs soon ... Without a partner and incubation, the fate of these eggs is predictable ....
Lady begins to wear grass, she is thinking already about the soft bottom of the nest.

Yes, Sappheira, that is all true. Still, it is sad. She is a pretty Osprey and it would be nice for her to have young. Only time will tell what will happen. It all depends on if Irma makes it back or not, most likely.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
