We all feel terrible here in the USA for what has happened to all those innocent little children. And it is not only our own-- I also heard on the news that some young schoolchildren in China were assaulted & stabbed by another madman. I don't understand why such rage should be turned on the smallest & weakest in a society.

Its unthinkable that someone will kill all those small children and their teachers.
The rest of the schooolchildren will be traumatised forever.
I grieve for the familys of all concerned.
Think of all those presents carefully wrapped and hidden away until Santa comes.

Is it not time to take the lethal weaponds out of evil hands....long past time.

This was really horrible. And the guy who did it, I think he was a mental case and his mother should have never brought all those guns into the house.
The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I watched the Inter-religious ceremony for the children & teachers killed in Newtown last night. I found great solace from it and I hope the parents present did too.

Our hearts are all broken. It still doesn't seem real. Going online and seeing that President Obama is coming to our town tomorrow is surreal. I lived with these people, was a boy scouts den mother for years, sponsored a little league baseball team, ran a successful business there.

I feel like I lost my mind somewhere.

Please pray for my friends and neighbors.
Wisteria, I am so shocked, and sorry, for this terrible tragedy. All these beautiful children and adults..I have no words..
My thoughts are with all affected. Their lives will never be the same..

Me too, it was more comforting than I even expected. I watched it on a live stream. Seeing everyone gathering and hugging each other was therapeutic. I found myself saying hello fondly to my monitor as I recognized people - strange but true. I thought each speaker struck just the right note, and I felt able to relax quite a bit when it was over.

People here are still walking around in a daze, but everyone seems to be acting more kindly to each other.

I think since we survived until now, it won't happen anymore! 8-) I read it was supposed to be at shortly past 12 CET, and that's long over! But no reason to not have the glass of wine! Santé!

Contrary to the "end of the world" scenario, our days will actually be getting longer starting now! (yeah, science!)

Hello all

I got a message from Will Muller that her husband is deceased unexpectedly yesterday morning.
She was an very active forum member the last few weeks
I sent her a message that I would report to you and would place a message on the forum.
The coming days she will probably not respond to the forum.

Condolences for you Wil, I wish you strength in the coming period
