Good morning!

5:44 Raimis brought hay. Milda got up and started feeding. Raimis flew out.


5:46 the baby turned away from front of the egg. there was a clear pip hole. there was also a wide crack on the egg. the crack turned with the egg when the baby was pushing the egg. he could not wipe the "crack" away like he did yesterday when the false cracks were pieces of straw.

7:01 Raimis was with the baby. he took a fish. ... but it still seemed to be a puzzle for him what to do with it and the baby.

milda didn't get up.

the lid opened at 7:31!
then Raimis flew out and Milda rolled the egg. the lid was off but the baby was still stuck in the bottom. the bigger part of the egg shell must be so broken that the baby will be completely out much faster than the bigger got out.

i missed this because the picture has been soooo stop & go again this morning. i think it is the transmission from the forest because the delayed stream stops and goes at the same moments.

8:52 Milda got up and showed what she had under her. the second chick was out of the shell.
it also looked quite dry already.

then Milda ate and fed the bigger one.
8:58 she did something special: she lifted the egg shell out of the nest bowl. usually parents ignore the broken egg.
