Somewhat slow food day, the above being the last delivery.

Anna took a break away from the nest at 15:02, being back five mins later. Again, she left atn15:53 and came back at 15:56. Some in the YT chat mentioned Andris, but I think it was Anna on nest, as Andris brooding without having delivered a large meal would be unusual.

Away again at 20:18 and back 8 mins later empty handed.

Anna ready to sleep early - 20:33 tried but quickly puts her head up and looks around, alert. Preening and by 20:53 her day is done, as she snuggles her head down in her back feathers. And there she stays as night gathers pace.

Andris is preening himself. (he's molting)

12:21 Anna comes back with huge crop and a twig with a cone on it

12:22 she is still busy with the twig. then she is rolling her eggs and covers them
12:32 she's looking to the left and calls .. looks around and is still calling

16:06 Anna stands up, turns, is preening , digging in the nest bowl and settles down again

Slow afternoon again, food wise but food enough was delivered earlier.

17:39 Anna leaves nest and is heard calling in the forest. She returns 17:42 empty handed.

19:18 deep grooming / preening session:


Anna then starts her sleep, waking and leaving nest at 21:17, to return 6 mins later with a large spruce sprig.

Back to sleep and then one last egg roll before returning to sleep as darkness gathers.
