There is more good news!

Yesterday, Kaia sent us no data. I suspect she really didn't have the time for that!
But early this morning we got information.
On the same day as Karl II, Kaia decided to leave Ukraine and flew a very long distance.
And guess where she is already now!

We know that migratory birds have a built-in navigation system, even if its mechanics have not yet been fully elucidated.
But apparently they also have a built-in phone to communicate with each other.

Kaia started travelling around 11:00 UTC+3, near Monastyrysche in the Cherkas'ka oblast in Ukraine.
She flew a decisive and straight route in a south-westerly direction.
At 14:30 UTC+3, she reached the Moldovan border and continued her flight.
She crossed Moldova's capital Chişinău at about 15:45 UTC+3
At around 18:40 UTC+3 she reached Romania near the lake Lacul Manta.
She crossed the border and kept on flying.
When she reached the Siret River, west of Galați, at 19:30 UTC, Kaia felt it was time to enjoy a well-deserved night's sleep.
She had flown 431 km in just over 8 hours.
Last known location: Kaia is near Cișmele, a little village in the Smârdan district, Galati County.








This afternoon there will be another data session for Kaia.
