Even the times of the transmission points match. :thumbs:
It is a pity that we see such different timestamps of data sessions from Karl II and Kaia.
We only see Karl II's data 3 hours later. So Kaia could still have caught up with him today.
We will only know tomorrow.

At 14:46:18 UTC (her last known location point), Kaia was still in flight at 48 km/h.
So it is likely that she is currently in the same area as Karl II and Metsoja.

They all pass through this eye of a needle on the Bosporus almost together. Provided they arrive at the same time.
A "wave of wings and goodbye" and then they all disperse again on their own journey.

Kalvi doesn't seem to be in any particular hurry. But if all the storks are drawn to the Bosporus, Kalvi should be there soon too. 8-)

I continue to find this astonishing. :nod:
It is true that Istanbul is a bottleneck - a highway - for migratory birds.
But - statistically - what were the chances of our 3 Black Storks crossing into the West Asian part of Turkey on the same day, at exactly the same time and place?
There were so many more possibilities/probabilities of not being together, both in time and spacing.

I am curious to see this evening what our birds will do today.
