Hello, Oliv -oliv wrote:23.44. I am very surprised every time I tryed to look at the cam at the evening. It is ALL BLACK. Here it sun shining at that time.
What I am wondering is what the (lovely) bandingman is telling us aboute the insects. I am surprised if it is only ordinary flys. Eha and Spot have been very
embarassed of tem, and ordinary flyes is not dangeus.
no, as far as I could hear Joosep didn't say anything about insects - although there are a few bits with not so clear sound on the video - and he didn't seem to worry much about them. But then, he probably knows it is no good trying to smash wasps & other nasty things, standing high up in a tree ...

) Can hear some peeping from someone but am not sure if its spot, eha or another off nest

Spot looking out into the world. And it looks like he has been snapping at flies.

Spot is eating a prey and doing just as adult Lesser Spotted eagles do..keeps the prey unmoved with toes, ripes it, shaked it, eated it piece by piece.. At 14:54.
( Eha is off. At 14:02 I saw her leaving)
Spot ripping the prey

When the prey was finished at 15:09 Spot trained flying. At first the balance was disturbed by the wind.
