Deeply sorry for spoiling the thread with my suggestion. Did not mean to upset anyone. :(
Please delete this post as I can't find the option myself.

Hello,
everyone
Balistar, thank you for the lovely morning photos.
Crissy, thank you for yesterday's reporting.
Because an urgent problem has arisen in the condition of my almost 92-year-old father, I will contribute much less to this topic in the coming days. I really hope that fellow-members who have time will continue to document nest-life of our BS.
Please post as many pics, reports and comments as possible.

I like name Karl II (or second).

Could the moderators kindly move the postings with the name subject to another thread as I am not interested in
members' choice and justification of names, especially when there was no call for suggestion/vote yet.
I think this is a nuisance in an otherwise perfectly informative thread.
Anne: I wish you and your father well. All the best.

........ Karl II or Karl the Second is a very worthy successor to this nest.
I thought about it. I suggest Karl II.

So many names!
I think we should remember that our new male stork already has a name, officially recorded in LK -
https://www.looduskalender.ee/n/en/node/3350 and bestowed by Urmas.
I and others are in favour of retaining that name.
Hello, Jo
I was not aware that "Karl II" was already used, since I am reading "Male" in almost every post.
I agree, but hope that "The Second" will stay part of his name.
And aistera - I thought of names beginning with "K" because of Kati and Karl

Aquiline, the name Karl II was used on Looduskalender, by Urmas in his article
https://www.looduskalender.ee/n/en/node/3350
Not everyone reads those pages so that is maybe why we contnued to refer to "male". Since then he has had the well-deserved name of Karl II, even though not all of us noticed it
Rita asked that all posts with suggestions for names should be removed. If the members who made those posts want them to be removed they can be. Those posts were made in good faith by respected forum members. If you want your name suggestions to be removed (to another topic about Black Stork Names) that can be done. Or, they can stay here.

Very sorry for spoiling the thread with my suggestion. :( Please delete this post.
There is absolutely no reason for you to feel bad about your post and even more to delete it. I was the one who started this issue on choosing the name for male and i was simply looking for ideas, im very thankful for everyone`s suggestions

That is what forums are about - discussions and bringing up subjects

Jo: I wrote 'move' (to possibly another thread as often done on this forum when looking for a name) and
NOT 'remove'. This is a slight difference, isn't it?

Jo,
first used in this thread:
"by Urmas » 04 Apr 2019, 06:27
...
About Karl there is no data, but Karl The Second may replace him probably in case of perish. That's natural and good nest sites with (good) females stay not empty, probably."

I had picked up the name "Karl the Second" immediately, but later did not use it anymore, out of respect for some members who did not want to see the name "Karl" used again, on the grounds that there could only be ONE "Karl".
However, even at the beginning I saw this stork as a worthy successor to the unique, beloved by all of us, Karl, who deserves the name "Karl the Second" in all dimensions, as I had also written:

What a surprise !
With an open mouth I was amazed at how quickly Kati was bonded and mated with the fascinating
"Karl the Second".
In case, he would certainly be a worthy successor, as beautiful and as industrious as he is ( not only in bringing in branches and moss
).
