Teachers, bird knowledge training starting!

The Estonian Ornithological Society and the Tartu Environmental Education Centre, Tartu Keskkonnahariduse Keskus, will be starting courses in  bird knowledge for teachers. Biology teachers in secondary schools in particular are expected, but also teachers in lower grades.

 

The training will take place in at least 23 locations in all Estonia. Teachers from all schools in the respective areas are invited. In each location field courses lasting 2-3 hours will be held on three mornings. The study course includes recognizing about 30 of our most common birds from their exterior and calls, as well as general bird knowledge.

 

The training is free and participants also receive a certificate of training.

 

Applications should be made no later than March 26. You may join later but in that case place in a group cannot be guaranteed.
