VIDEO: Greys on the beach

 

Feathers and fur are amicably together. There are many black-headed gulls at the shores, adults as well as young birds.

 

At intervals of a couple of weeks the socially-minded gray seals have gathering days in certain rookeries. They ”exchange views” and check each other’s physical fitness status. It is still some time to the fattening period. The water in the sea is cool and up to now blue algae have not been seen; we will see what the situation will be in August.
