Multiflowered Solomon’s seal.
Arne’s springtime photo reminds of how beautiful and special Solomon’s seal (Polygonatum multiflorum) is in flower. Those who want to have it in the garden should get it now: it is the right time to dig up the rhizome of the plant and replant it in your garden. The fruits of the plant hang from the stem, several together like the flowers, covered with a beautiful blue film, and round like bilberries. But very poisonous.
