It's the first time for all of us to see something like this. But integration after only 3 days, that's a quick adjustment from my point of view.
He acted totally normal on day 4. :innocent:
This is an absolute success for Urmas and everyone involved :loveshower:

I'm totally overwhelmed!
Now we hope that all will successfully fledge.
Good morning Liz and everyone :hi:

yes so wonderful ♥

Aren't the birds' survival instincts amazing, both the parents' and the storklets'!

Thank you Liz01 for all your diligence with the pics and videos!

BTW How do you know that Bonus is #2 and Bonus2 is #1 of the JJ chicks?

Pennies, hi

I thought #1 was taken to the Karula nest and wrote so. Someone corrected me and wrote it was #2

I looked at the picture of Eedi's nest and thought it might be true that the oldest chick is with Eedi. But basically they are the same age! Hardly distinguishable, only by the temporary rings they had.

I also wondered this morning where Swenja is. I usually take "off" for a while as soon as I see her. Yesterday was an exception. I hope she is doing well!

13:50 Bonus is stretching his leg.. KK #3 storklet bite in Bonus leg .
this is not a game or bite anything that moves!
Image

he tugged on Bonus's leg! Bonus almost fell over. When the others stretch their legs, none of the storks bite
Image

shortly before #3 was stretching out his leg- none attempted to bite and pull
