Olle drove to the nest after the pine marten’s attack and caught images of the movements of the robber although he had to search for the mobile phone very fast in his pocket – a useful occasion for a mobile in fact.

The nest box as you can see is mounted on the mobile tower of their company, and along the tower the aggressor cannot reach the starling box. But by the weak side branches of the trees growing next to the tower it succeeded.

After yesterday’s attack we didn’t see the adults in the evening. Today the feeding of the remaining  chicks goes on from early morning.
