Starling       Sturnus vulgaris

Starlings are faithful to their nesting sites.

The first egg was in the nest box on April 28th. Typically, a starling lays four to six eggs before beginning to incubate them. The male bird rarely visits the nest, and during the incubation period, the female bird appears during the day to replace him.
