Soon the incubation period starts and during that time the males feed their mates. We can already see a difference between the nesters in who conceal their eggs, and  how, during daytime.

The female left the nest at about a quarter to seven and since she did not return during the whole day it can be surmised that on Saturday there will be one more egg in the nest hollow – today it simply did not want to arrive.
