Black Stork Ciconia nigra
The nest located in Pärnu County got its own webcam the year before last. The reason is understandable, as the nesting forest is located in a wind farm development area.
Today, the nest owner, the male bird Kergu, arrived at the nest.
Kergu was ringed as one of three nestlings in 2011 and wears a ring with the number 7047 on his left leg.
In previous years, the male bird has restored the nest base, but the female bird has not arrived at the nest for nesting. We will see how the nesting life will turn out this year.
