Looduskalender has reached the 14th season of its Winter Bird Camera where we can observe the birds visiting the birdfeeder and their doings by way of the web camera; starting now however we use the free services of YOUTUBE.com.
For work and development in previous years Urmas Lett in particular deserves special thanks, without him the transmission of data from the web cameras would literally not have been possible. Until now server services were provided by EENET: our thanks for the cooperation!

How does the broadcast by way of YOUTUBE reach viewers and who are supporting and assisting in the project?
The camera stream moves from the shore of the Kooraste lake by way of the ELISA 4G data network to the PILW.IO server, managed by BABAHH Media, which encodes the stream and distributes it to viewers through Youtube.
PILW.IO and BABAHH Media: Silver Laadoga support and maintain the encoding server for the stream.
Web camera: Omar Neiland has installed and tested the camera system and constructed the stereo sound option.
Peeter Raudsepp and Tiit Lepik: supported at the installation of the camera system and with options of coordinating the data transmission .
The Winter Bird Camera viewers: our viewers are extremely important – otherwise the data streaming would have no purpose!
The Winter Bird Camera forum provides the web with an overview of what is happening in camera view.
Looduskalender is supported by KIK, the Estonian Environmental Investment Centre.
The dinner table of the birds will be laid out this year too by Balsnack
