Bigger stork chicks one week old

The two older black stork chicks are one week old. You can see the difference between them. In the heat wave the chicks can have long ”air baths” – bodies have to be hardened.
There is plenty of water in the brooks. How the family of these birds mostly feeding on fish will develop depends largely on the available food. The chicks will be ringed after three weeks or so, depending on how they grow. The camera can then also be adjusted manually to give a better image.
