It is as we ”feared”, the fertile Klaara has a fifth egg in the clutch – nothing to be done if the egg demands to be laid.

 

The first egg was laid on March 4th, and today is already March 15th. Klaara started incubating when the first egg was laid. The chicks will hatch in the order that the eggs were laid: the last will hatch when the oldest chick is 10 days old. Such is life ….
