Eating time for the young red deer stags comes when the old individuals deign to leave the ground; the young ones are at the same shown their place. Thus we can see them in evening dusk and morning light. Some evenings cows with their summertime calves pass the grounds.
Co-existence with the wild boar is quite peaceful, but the eleven-headed herd where the male boar is no longer to be seen does send off a couple of deer stags. Or rather the deer back off themselves.

The foxes have not long to the mating time either. This morning they inspected each other for quite a time and playfully.
