With the joint efforts of Kotkaklubi and a great number of other helpers the web cameras this year were installed at the black storks' nest on March 26. Just before the Mobotix cameras were set up Joosep and Urmas put up supports for the nest, as shown in the photos and video. From the Mikrotik aerial the signal reaches the teletower 13 km further away, and from there goes on to Televõrgu's optic cable. Televõrgud also arrange the transmission of the image to the EEnet server where the image is coded and multiplied for viewers. The system in the forest is powered by solar panels.
A great number of nice people help us to bring life in the black storks’ nest to you, and most of them were there at the installation work.
