Tõnn on Finland’s West Coast

Tõnn, a juvenile greater spotted eagle, is enchanted by the sea. More accurately, it is preserved in his instinct to move along the coast and then arrive at the right place. But the coastline is the territory of the white-tailed eagles, and these big birds don’t tolerate the presence of spotted eagles near them…

Having arrived on Finland’s west coast near Merikarvia, Tõnn turned southward. But almost immediately he thought it would be better to turn back north—and so he flew around Pori. Today our greater spotted eagle spent the night between Kristiinankaupunki and Teuva (Peninkylä).
 Tõnn’s journey in Finland

Probably he’ll continue northward where the days are longer and it’s pleasant to move around…
