New Camera

 
This year the Winter White-tailed Eagle Feeding Ground Camera starts a little later than in previous years. The camera was installed on December 8, with the assistance of Tiit and Joosep, but we only managed to get the sound in working order in the new year, with the help of Beta Group.

Night alone in the nest

Warmer temperatures at night and the chicks alone in the nest. Donna brought breakfast a little after 7:15 and got to spend about twenty minutes with the chicks. Padis arrived with cheerful greetings and Donna immediately left to take care of business. With the chicks fed, the nest fluffed, and new moss brought, the nest is cleaner and softer for clambering chicks. A couple of branches were brought to fortify the sides of the nest. Padis was working in the nest for almost two hours.
The day and night passed as usual. The more independent the chicks become the faster we're able to imagine their personality traits. So far the trio is presently friendly with one another.
