The beaver camera is once more online. This year we will be able to follow the activities of the beavers at their lodge on the shore of the Penijõgi in the Matsalu National Park. Behind the beaver lodge the largest reed field at the Baltic is visible.

Tõnn brings first spruce twig to nest

In the video we see the visit of the male in the nest just after a quarter to three. Probably Tõnn has inspected the surroundings and acknowledges the nest as his own by bringing the spruce twig.

Actually Tõnn with his transmitter arrived already yesterday. The visit to the nest at a quarter to six lasted for only a second. Was there something in the surroundings that seemed disturbing to him? See the video below.
