The seal camera works for the second day, the sun travels high enough to charge the batteries from the solar panels and wake them up.

On the seal beach on Thursday we saw at least a hundred individuals with frosty coats, peacefully basking. At the water’s edge it is of course less cold, about -12 degrees. On the western shore of Saaremaa, towards the Baltic, the water temperature approaches zero. Interesting whether the seals will remain on the ice during this year’s birthing period?
